Friends, they come and go
Some leave, the reason, you don’t know
Every once in a while one may die
You only wish you could understand why
It doesn’t make any sense
It’s not your fault they went away
But perhaps there will come another day
When you will find another friend
That maybe God can in some way lend
Cherish your friends
With every wind
Because you never know
Tomorrow may be the end
